Complaints
Bad experience. My sales guy didn’t explain that there were a total of 60 days in the waiting period before my full coverage would start. I was told 30 days then I would be able to make claims. I called to schedule service and was told that since I was still inside of my 60 day waiting period, AFC would only pay up to $150 to cover what ever the technician said we needed. This was not explained to me on the front end so basically I’m losing money on this deal and I can’t cancel the service request unless i can provide prof that my issue was fixed. AFC has hosed me basically and I didn’t even get to use the service that I’ve been paying on for the last 50 days. – Ramy Z., BBB 5/4/2020
Still unresolved plumbing/toilet issue. The service was so bad I would give zero stars if I could. The issue is still unresolved. Nobody can tell me what’s covered. Stories change all the time. How Does AFC Home Club Stack Up To The Competition?
This home warranty provider previously offered coverage only in North Carolina and South Carolina and had fairly decent reviews. Since its transition to offering coverage in 48 states the company has had a few more negative reviews than we’d like to see.
However, it seems they also know what it takes to provide great service. We hope that with time they can improve their reputation. We’ll keep a watchful eye on them to see how their service stands up to rapid growth over the next few years.
