Safe Smart Living was founded in 2014 as a resource for home security and identity theft prevention and has since grown to also cover other aspects of your personal and financial life, from home warranties to medical alert systems, garden and health tips, mental and physical wellness, travel and adventure, history and culture and more! Our team has a combined 275+ years of life and world experiences, personally using and testing the products and services we review, bringing a unique and authentic approach to everything we write about. We are committed to providing the most in-depth and unbiased information to help keep readers the most knowledgeable about any given topic.

We conduct rigorous research and are proud of our publishing process, which goes through at least half a dozen people and gives each piece we write 2-3 months of work on average, including consulting by credentialed industry professionals. We do our best to bring you complex subjects in an approachable, easy-to-digest way while keeping our content up to date and providing extra scrutiny from industry professionals, taking into account user feedback.
