Hiring a professional lawn care company often comes with a high bill and harsh chemicals sprayed everywhere. An alternative option for you may be lawn care programs for do it yourself. My top two lawn care programs use ingredients that are pet-friendly, safe for children, and environmentally safe.

The lawn care program subscriptions are also affordable, and you can apply the products yourself. These companies make lawn care simple by shipping packages when they need to be applied, providing easy-to-use products, and offering helpful lawn maintenance tips along the way. Find out if one of these do it yourself lawn care programs can replace your current method.

My Personal Experience With Sunday’s DIY Lawn Care Plan

I started using Sunday in 2021 to avoid harsh chemicals and use lawn care products that are safe for pets and people. Applying the products is simple, and pricing is affordable. Throughout the summers, I notice significant differences between my lawn and my neighbors’ lawns, which use professional lawn care companies that utilize harsh chemicals. My lawn is always greener, even during those consistently squelching hot days.

My favorite Sunday product is their Pet Patch, which repairs pet urine spots. My backyard gets riddled with brown spots from my dog’s potty breaks, but come springtime, I spray on some Pet Patch, and in a matter of weeks, the area looks pristine.

My backyard changed drastically after one Pet Patch application.

I’ve also used Sunday’s Fescue Rescue grass seed to repair a spot in my front yard that was damaged due to utility work and heavy machinery. The before and after are incredibly satisfying; it doesn’t look like anything happened in that area now.

I prepped the area by removing rocks, mowing (to ensure existing grass didn’t shade out the seed), lightly raking, spreading seed, topping with a thin layer of straw, and watering twice daily for 2-3 weeks.
